Amigos Bravos unique blend of world renowned art, social and economic justice, and high jinx will roll its way through a summer day and down through the Río Grande Gorge with ever greater momentum this year. Amigos Bravos Annual Paint-a-Thon and Gala Auction will be generously hosted by Phillip Bareiss and the Bareiss Gallery and will take place on July 14th, with a rain date of July 15th.
Artists are invited to paint for the Río Grande along the river anywhere from the Orilla Verde Campsite to the Taos Junction Bridge, north of Pilar, on highway 570. The cocktail and preview party, featuring hand mixed margaritas from ace volunteers Karen and David Douglas and silent auction, will begin at 5 PM at the Bareiss Gallery located at 15 Route 150, toward the Taos Ski Valley, north of Taos proper.
Live auction will commence at 6 PM with silent auction winner announcements to follow.
